Collection: Posterity | Aug 2021
You only get to live once in a lifetime. However life one has lived, to the fullest or the modest, we often find ourselves yearning for permanence or a close-characteristic of being timeless. We then will to craft a legacy that we will leave.
Some legacies are being made right at this moment - in the work, commitment, passion we have for our lifestyle. In these times, made vivid by struggles and misery, we often stumble to ask ourselves if there is any point in it though.
If a life lived ceases, what becomes then the purpose of striving for greatness? Our mind becomes a hollow vessel of a past life no longer lived anyway.
Does the idea of leaving a legacy, if not experienced by its creator, remain relevant? Why is providing a mark in another - generation or lifetime - so crucial to judge a done life? What is of our doing if not for posterity's sake?
Audiences are urged to reflect upon the desire to be replaceable in the reality of replaceability.
