The artwork tells the story of cockfighting, which is a traditional leisure and entertainment activity for Filipinos. The interesting side of the painting is that it can be switched upside-down because the characters have different sides. One is actually winning the fight, while the other is losing. I also want to convey a message in my painting that each one of us is destined by fate, or the collection of events that I believe are destined to happen to an individual, which is also called destiny.
