Chaos Theory is a mathematical concept that is rooted in the idea that even seemingly insignificant actions can have far-reaching effects, particularly in complex systems. It is also called the "Butterfly effect". It says that a flap of a butterfly wing from one side of the world can trigger an event that would lead to a hurricane that would flatten the other side of the world. In the painting an old farmer is unwittingly waiting the fate of the crop he is tending.In the background is a brewing storm.
