This artwork reflects on a childhood that felt like it needed to be paused. It speaks about growing up as an independent person,learning to figure things out on your own, sometimes before you were ready to.

There is a quiet longing in looking back at the child who had to learn independence early. A part of me wonders what it would have been like if time had moved a little slower, if I had been given more space to simply be a child before having to understand the world on my own.
