Our culture is vanishing, not in an instant, but piece by piece, consumed by neglect and time. This piece reflects this slow decay, where symbols of heritage books, a woven mat, and a broken clock sit abandoned, forgotten. Rats crawl over them, feeding on what remains, much like how foreign influences replace our traditions. The half-eaten apple serves as a stark reminder of the choices we make, prioritizing the foreign culture while disregarding our own. A note warns,"Unti-unti, kinakain ng panahon ang ating nakaraan," yet it is left unnoticed just like the fading echoes of our past.
