The continued exploration of humankind into outer space has continually stirred our curiosity, leaving us with profound questions about our existence: Are we alone in the Universe? Such inquiries drive our pursuit of knowledge and the potential discovery of Earth-like planets in distant solar systems, often light-years away. These planets may hold the key to providing a sanctuary for our ever-growing human population, especially as we face challenges here on Earth.

In 2011, astronomers made a groundbreaking discovery when they identified Gliese 667 CC, a planet situated within the habitable zone of the red dwarf star Gliese 667 C, which is part of the Gliese 667 triple star system. This region, known as the habitable zone, is where conditions might be just right for liquid water to exist—an essential ingredient for life as we know it.

Following the discovery, various missions were launched to study this intriguing exoplanet, revealing that it experiences tidal heating approximately 300 times that of Earth. This phenomenon raises questions about the planet's geological activity and potential for supporting life.
