Djinn Tallada relies upon the interaction of the artist and artwork. He believes that each piece offers a message: that the artist not only creates but that the art also speaks to the artist. There is mutuality in a sense, and Djinn believes it is integral in the creation process. He is known for ‘waso-waso’, cross-hatched, visible, brave lines sketches, and still exploring for a new art style that would come upon the everyday process. Ideas of his creation are mainly happening is social reality with a mix of fantasies and exaggerated visuals that tickles the viewer’s mind - how they resemble it into a different perspective. Djinn tells you not just to look at it but also to feel it. Djinn is an alumnus of the University of Santo Tomas, College of Fine Arts and Design, Major in Painting. He continues to explore his art in Singapore as an art director.
