When you start each day with a grateful heart, light illuminates from within". This quote is my inspiration to paint this artwork.
Edzon Dela Cruz, based in Manila since October 2018 till March 2020 for I went home to Mindanao due to Covid-19 lockdown. Previously, I based in the cities of Iligan and Cagayan de Oro after I left Saudi Arabia in 2013 (1998-2013 as an Artist Painter - specializing Mural Paintings ) and stayed in the Philippines for good to work as fulltime artist. My textured painting effect technique (pointillism) are predominantly colored blue that gives a feeling of being cool implying truth, heaven, eternity, faith and ever-lasting happiness and most of it are in nature. Sometimes, I enjoy exploring in other subjects like abstract, cement and auto-parts sculpture. After winning as Finalist in GSIS 2021 Art Competition in Abstract Category, I painted some series of that kind of artworks for I enjoy doing it.
