Oasis defined as a woman a beautiful place or in a beautiful state of mind. Inspired by a quote from the movie, Split, "Your heart is pure! Rejoice! The broken are the more evolved. Rejoice.” Where the protagonist is seen with scars from abuse and possibly, self-inflicted. The artist uses the lotus as a symbolism. The lotus comes from under the disgusting muck and rises beautifully above the water.
