“This piece is a representation of all the paths I’ve crossed in life up to this point. In these times where it’s so hard to find a sense of progress or fulfillment, it’s always good to look back on everything you’ve done and how many pieces of you are already out there. In this case, it’s an ode to life in the architectural field, the graphic design field, and now a painter and how parts of me are already scattered through buildings, magazine pages, and paintings.”

Carla is a Queer Visual Artist who does freelance art full time, both digital and fine. She was an almost architect, turned magazine editor, turned art intern, until finally taking the leap to dive into the visual arts full time.
