Collection: Looking Glass

To look at reflections of the self, formed by accumulated thoughts of one's own consciousness is to see an unbiased view of one's own experiences with internal growth and conflict. One must assess one's own qualities in order to fully harness control of the spontaneous nature of our humanity. Looking Glass aims to serve as the mirror for the artist, a blank canvas for each individual to fabricate their versions of themselves, so that they may see who they are, as others see them.

The Alpas Guni Collective is a group of budding artists from the University of Santo Tomas. They are on a journey of discovering and strengthening their styles, as well as exploring different approaches and media. Being molded by what they have learned, and are learning, they draw from the past and the present in order to give birth to creations that are potent and honest.
