“This piece shows how busy the humans are. Just like bees, they are very hardworking who tend to forget to fix everything that is ruined around them.”

Mike Zarate is a self taught artist, born and raised in Binan Laguna. He started as a mural painter in 1999. His projects are mostly for schools and barangay projects. In the year 2014, he became an OFW in Jeddah Saudi Arabia and started doing acrylics and oil paintings as a part time job. He became a full time artist when he returned back in the Philippines last 2018.
