Collection: 90's Hits | The Grey Space Art Fair Vol. 3 | Mar 2022

In the 1990s, music was not just music. It was an experience, an encounter, and an escape.
Way back then, songs were not as readily available as they are now.  We all had to wait for the radio DJ to play our favourite songs.  We had to push buttons to get cassette tapes going or for CDs to reload the albums of the bands we loved. Plus we had to carry cumbersome players around just so we could have our music wherever we were.
There’s really something inherently special about songs from this decade that whenever we hear one playing, we are immediately transported back to those times that listening to music was so much more.
The Grey Space presents “90s Hits”, a collection of paintings made by 20 Filipino Contemporary Artists and inspired by some of the songs that made the decade the music boom it was.
This online exhibit opens on March 16 until March 31, 2022.
