We dream of paradise
like stars burning in the night.
As if heaven yearns for the grace of our touch;
reminding us of a love, found and lost.
Yet we wake to the chaos of the Earth,
where time is critical of our worth.
Perpetually growing in the harsh sunlight,
shaking us from dreams of starlight.
Still, the promise of paradise is always arriving;
like lovers meeting at the park in the evenings.
It merrily shifts inside our bodies,
until our hearts bloom to give it meaning.

Mimi Camille, better known in the moniker, dollicandy on Instagram, she is known in creating dreamy & delicate watercolor artworks which encompasses conceptualized ideas using the female portrait & form as subject; her flowly and soft approach with watercolor reflects the beauty of the medium's spontaneity.
Her inspirations for her works are driven from her personal insterests, experiences, and vision to using her artworks to voice out her visual language.
One of her strongest influences in art since she was young includes her love for japanese art & culture (anime, illustrations, fashion, & the likes). Another inspiration she uses for her artworks is nature, which she often includes in her paintings as design elements. Nature, for her, is the only thing greater than having art in life, as it is the ultimate source of life, and beauty in art.
