Eternal Damnation

Inspired by the religious and esoteric ritual of 'wishing candles,' molten faces made of wax are arranged on a sheet of mirror. It's the easiest way for church-goers and magic dabblers alike to trade in a bit of their soul for something temporal. The installation's imagery is also a reinterpretation of the rivers of the Underworld.
