“I constantly morph in my approach in painting, from pointilism to a hybrid presentation. I usually deal with issues of home and freedom. My memories of my province of Bohol gives me momentum. They are rendered in my own visual idiom to express my desire for change. About my freedom paintings, I use the symbolism of wings but still maintain my own style used in other issues.”

“My perception is limited, but I constantly expand it. I constantly equip myself with relevant skills. It is a metaphor of Cainggit beach in my province. This may not be comparable to other beaches, but it is the best comparison I can find about my horizon having spent time swimming and playing there during my childhood.”
