"Knowledge is something that is passed to the future generation. All the things my dad taught me will always be at the back of my head every time i make a decision. All his teachings will be timeless for me and that's what the sculpture in the painting is all about. And maybe one day i'll be able to pass it all to my son/daughter."
Daniel Evangelista is a graduate of BFA- Painting from the University of Sto. Tomas. Evangelista, a photographer-turned-painter practices and combines both art media in producing his larger-than-life oil paintings. His style gives a nod to realism and surrealism art movements woven with his love for K-Pop music and classical paintings— both of which he considers his biggest inspirations and influences.
