This piece deals with how human emotions are expressed through their skin. The joy and warmth, the love and romance, the calmness and serenity, are portrayed through the vibrant hues that manifests how life is lived.

Katey Oliva is finally on her path to becoming a full-time artist, a dream she had at the ripe age of five. To quote her younger self, “I want to be a ‘drawer’!” Katey is currently taking up her second degree in the University of the Philippines while juggling a full-time job. As she continues to hone her skill in realism, she has opened herself up to new possibilities to develop her craft and discover new mediums. She is a newly inducted member of the Philippine Pastel Artists and she hopes to find similar opportunities to share her art to a community she has longed to be a part of.
