"As a woman wanting to be a mother, this is a personal orison to any deities, a silent plea to bless me with the gift of life. This is part of a series of paintings inspired by Giovanni Battista Salvi's Madonna and Child, from the theme to the color palette but with my much more defined hard lines,  which is currently the style I want to convey."

Izrah is a self-taught artist from Abuyog in the province of Leyte. Her preferred medium is oil on canvas.
