YELCAST Yelcast is the founder of VisualPoetry Philippines, a movement in the Philippine art which creates imagery (visual) using literature (poetry). He took abstraction to a new level with his novel way of reinterpreting his original poems, song lyrics or quotes into a work of art he calls VISUAL POETRY. He arranges his own distinct calligraphic style of lettering as art element on canvas, with colors and textures, and combines two different artistic disciplines—literature and visual arts. He is an Electrical Engineering graduate who passed two PRC board examination and ranked no.1 in one of his registered license.He made a 100% life changing turn by becoming a fulltime artist. Yelcast received several awards such as 3 times Metrobank semifinalist and 1st Place On the Spot National Pastel Competition by Philippine Pastel Artists. For him,as a VisualPoetry Artist, we share the RESPONSIBILITY of showing POSITIVE PERSPECTIVE and the BEAUTY OF LIFE.Our arts should always be designed to INSPIRE PEOPLE, to DREAM and to LOVE.
