“This mixed media work explores the myths of how indigenous Filipinas cope with avoiding bad luck or ill health by faithfully following the signs of the Balatik Star and the Moon’s eclipse thereby redeeming their still unborn infant from physical harm. It also provides a glimpse of how the indigenous Bukidnons and the Cordillerans allow the Balatik formation in the stars constellation to guide them as to when is the best time for harvesting and planting crops.”
