While hiking, I have always been captivated by the treasures I find on the forest floor, from fallen flowers and critters to fruits and seeds. This artwork is part of the Winged Fruits series, where the wing shape enables the fruit to spin and soar through the air, efficiently spreading the seeds to foster new life away from the mother tree. Illustrated in graphite—one of the essential tools for honing fundamental drawing skills—it represents a new beginning for growth.
