The artistic expression at hand is an exploration of the intricate and profound journey of grieving. The multifaceted experiences, emotive intensities, and inherent yearnings of the bereaved are embodied within the vivid depictions of the characters and intricately crafted minutiae that imbue the artwork with a striking emotional depth.

Elaine “Yeye” Bautista uses art as an expression of feelings, emotions, events, and stories of the lives of others and herself. Currently, she mainly uses ink as her art medium, from which she finds solace in the long process of creating its details and patterns. She continues to explore different mediums and art styles, as well as learn through kind artists that she has met along the way.
