Banwa is a contemporary artist, graduate of University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Fine Arts major in Painting. Currently, accepts Commission Paintings from various clients. He also conducts home-based tutorials on Painting Portraits and drawing sketches for children and adults for a living. In doing art, Banwa likes to deal with surrealism, contemplating human emotions and experiences. He expresses his thoughts through his artworks, aiming to expose the conscious and subconscious judgments, views and feelings, the distortions of personalities, and yearning for true respect for humanities. He also tackles the psychological realm through expressionist aesthetics. He is also naturally drawn to the concepts of social realism and abstract art. In addition to influences in the visual field, music also serves as an inspiration to the artist, who also happens to play the guitar. Like his artworks, his musical influences vary from classical, jazz, rock, metal, and punk, which he considers to be reflected in his art.
